ALWM Group was formed because local residents wanted answers.
Many people in the Kwinana community became concerned about council decisions and questioned whether everyday residents were being given a genuine voice in the future of their own community.

Residents began asking questions about how ratepayer money was being spent, why major decisions appeared to move forward without meaningful consultation, and why some discussions seemed to happen with limited public input.
Many residents also expressed frustration that some groups and initiatives appeared to receive greater recognition or influence due to broader government policies, while the concerns of many local residents felt overlooked.

ALWM Group believes every resident and community group deserves respect and the opportunity to be heard.
However, decisions affecting the whole community should be open, transparent and made with genuine consultation.

We research issues, share information and encourage discussion about decisions that will shape Kwinana’s future.

We are not here simply to complain. We believe strong communities need transparency, accountability and representatives who listen to the people they serve.
