Kwinana Council claims these hikes are for “core services,” yet neighbors like Rockingham are delivering major infrastructure—like the Baldivis Sporting Complex and coastal hazard protections—with lower annual increases.
Kwinana: Imposes a “3-Bin Swindle” that reduced your service while raising your rates by 4.5%.
Rockingham: Focused on “Rates Smoothing” and interest-free payment plans.
Cockburn: Boasts some of the lowest rates in the Perth Metro area while maintaining high-tier facilities like the ARC.
